Jason Brennan has many years of experience in the television industry. After working as a director, screenwriter and producer for various national television companies, he founded Nish Média. Since its inception in 2002, Nish Media has collaborated with numerous Canadian broadcasters such as APTN, Radio-Canada, TV5, RDI, Historia and Canal D. In 2012, the first of five seasons of the series Hit The Ice scripted, directed and produced by Brennan is presented on APTN. In 2015, Nish Média produced its first feature film, Le Dep, written and directed by Sonia Bonspille Boileau. The film was selected and nominated by numerous jury of national and international festivals.

Jean-François Martel has worked with several documentary producers as a screenwriter and director, mostly on French-language series and one-off documentaries for Radio-Canada, TV5, ArTV, TVA, TFO, APTN and UNIS. Working with Espace Franco Images, he directed the entire second season of La Portée des mots (TFO, 2013) and wrote the one-off documentary Véronique Dicaire : Grand V (Radio-Canada, 2014), nominated for a Gémeaux in the Best Biography Documentary category. His series of short docs Champlain en vingt fragments (UNIS, 2015), produced by Carte Blanche Films and conceived, won a Hermes Creative Gold Award and a Creativity International Silver Award in 2015. In addition to working in documentary television, Jean-François has written and directed a number of short films, including Cicada, winner of the Best Short Film award at the 2013 Canadian Film Fest.
